Title:  Environmental Health and Safety Associate

Join us as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Associate, where you’ll play a key role in supporting our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility by managing EHS data, coordinating training, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

 

This on-site role is based at our Grand Rapids, MI plant and follows a primarily first-shift schedule. Start times may vary depending on business needs. Flexibility is essential, as occasional support during third shift or weekends may be required in response to incidents or operational demands. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values precision, innovation, and employee well-being.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Managing EHS Systems – Maintain and support plant environmental health and safety data systems, including SAP for procurement and documentation. Serve as backup for on-call EHS responsibilities.
  • Ensuring Regulatory Compliance – Lead documentation efforts for occupational health and assist with regulatory reporting for EPA, OSHA, and other agencies.
  • Tracking Key Metrics – Monitor, analyze, and report on safety and environmental performance indicators. Support sustainability initiatives and maintain action registers.
  • Leading Training Initiatives – Coordinate safety training programs with vendors and department leads. Develop and maintain training plans to support a culture of safety.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in an administrative or data management role
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Customer service experience and a proactive mindset

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $52,300 - $68,670, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
