Your hybrid role based in our Category Management team, includes working within our amazing Dublin Head Office 2-3 days per week, with travel opportunities to visit our sales teams across Europe.  This role has visibility across the business, with the opportunity to recommend and implement the European strategy and business plans.  Dependent on performance, this could offer progression opportunities into other roles in the European sales function such as Channel Strategy, Commercial Operations and Revenue Growth Market, leading us to expand your skillset and prepare you for a future Director position.  We offer many excellent benefits for you including annual bonuses, market leading pension plan, summer hours, flexible working plus more.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Performance tracking – This role will have performance tracking and analysis responsibility, with channel level drilled down to stock keeping unit levels.
  • Hard Discount negotiations – You will lead the preparation of all international European hard discount negotiations together with the Finance Business Partner; from requesting local market data or stock keeping unit level, reviewing and pulling together profit and loss data and sharing these insights with leaders.
  • Collaboration – You will closely collaborate to ensure alignment on focus areas, opportunities and risks in order to identify necessary actions.
  • Market Growth – driving sustainable growth in one of the most growing channels in Europe, managing Aldi and Lidl accounts and supporting the delivery of the KPIs of total European discounters.
  • Key Contact – As the go-to person, you’ll play a central role in communication and coordination for our European hard discount customers, leading the annual negotiations.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • FMCG experience in a commercial facing role.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a Business or related field.
  • Strong financial acumen, with an ability to analyse and interpret vast amounts of data to drive revenue and market share.
