Title:  Commercial Finance Manager

As a Commercial Finance Manager wihin our cereal  category you will be part of our fantastic European Finance team. This is a hybrid role (required to be in our European H/Q- Dublin Airport, on a hybrid work schedule)


Grow with us as a Category Finance/Commercial Manager with responsibility for shaping the 3 year European category strategy, working cross functionally to ensure that there is a clear financial framework that is aligned to the commercial/marketing priorities of the BU.

  • Support the Category in driving business decision, by providing solid financial assessment on the current business dynamics of each of cluster and working cross functionally to build the category strategy aligned to the overall regional objectives.
  • Assess alternative business investment options based on short and mid-term return on investment. Coordinate, under the supervision of the finance director, communication on investment choices across the region
  • Work closely with Revenue Growth Management to create a robust price realisation strategy.
  • Liaise closely with local markets to develop business plans (initiatives, learning, growth, pricing, etc.), provide visibility to local markets on medium/longer term brand/category plans.
  • Partner with Senior Marketing and RQNT (research, quality, nutrition, technology) leadership to inform strategic thinking/align on growth opportunities.
  • Support category leadership team throughout the strategic planning cycle to ensure best in class plans creation and deployment (medium/long term)
  • Strongly contribute to competitive analysis projects – with specific regards on pricing and go to market trends
  • Link with FP&A team on target setting to ensure financial alignment with 3-year Planning Process




  • The position requires a qualified university degree in Finance/accountancy qualification.
  • Excellent commercial insight to help us to challenge, innovate and win with customers and consumers.
  • Strong influencing and analytical skills with good attention to detail
  • Good communication skills: ability to work well with others in a team environment, work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and develop relationship at multiple levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, PowerBI and deep Excel skills
  • Fluent English – verbal and written.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, cross functional environment with tight turnaround times for deliverables
  • Works effectively in a virtual team environment.
