Title: Channel Executive
Based in Dublin, Ireland, this hybrid, Channel Strategy Executive 12-month FTC role is an exciting opportunity to build your Sales career within one of the world's leading FMCG businesses. In your role within the ECE Sales department, you will be supporting the delivery of key channel initiatives arising from the 5-year Channel Strategy for total Europe, as well as owning channel performance reporting.
You'll work closely with Category End to End Teams and our ECE Clusters & Markets, helping to deliver priority channel initiatives by being the voice for channel needs and perfect execution.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the creation of Channel initiatives and projects in the SKU2M system ensuring all supporting information is complete.
- Represent the Channel team on, and drive the delivery of, cross functional channel focused priority projects, working in close collaboration with the full E2E portfolio and category teams. Including full ownership of ITR innovation initiatives.
- In conjunction with the markets, define and create commercial assumptions as required for all stage gates for channel focused projects & initiatives and ensure execution excellence is built into all channel focused initiative launch plans through co-ordination with Commercial Operations and relevant markets.
- Build trade sell in stories to support retailer buy in for key channel led initiatives, develop relevant AFH channel & sub channel Sales Toolkits and deploy to markets as required and manage the channel P&L PowerBi reporting dashboard including updating of channel/customer mapping on an annual basis as well as full qualification of data robustness on an ongoing basis.
- Produce quarterly channel tracking reports by category, providing insights into performance and actions required to course correct. Support channel team in preparing for European customer meetings with performance analysis versus KPIs.
- Help build the Centre of Excellence for all things channel by continually gaining channel knowledge, building capabilities, and sharing best practice through partnerships with internal (Insights & Strategy department, markets etc) and external resources.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience within the FMCG industry across Sales, Trade Marketing, or Customer Marketing, with a proven track record of delivering results and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and database management tools.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and storytelling skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage AC Nielsen data.
- Strong financial acumen is essential, including the ability to evaluate ROI, assess financial impact, and measure overall program performance.
