Title: Commercial Finance Sr. Coordinator
As a Commercial Finance Sr. Coordinator, you will play a critical role as a finance business partner to commercial teams, helping drive sustainable revenue growth and profitable expansion. This role is based in Bogotá, Colombia, operating in a hybrid work model, and is part of a collaborative, cross-functional finance organization supporting Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management.
In this position, you will translate complex financial data into clear insights that influence commercial decision-making. What makes this role exciting is the exposure to end-to-end commercial performance, ownership of trade spending governance, and the opportunity to impact pricing, mix, and investment decisions that directly shape business results
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Monthly Close and Financial Governance — Ensure timely and accurate review, validation, and approval of actual financial results and accruals during the monthly close process.
- Trade Spending Management — Own the end-to-end governance of trade spending, ensuring compliance with financial policies, accurate recognition, and audit-ready documentation.
- Commercial Performance Analysis — Analyze and explain pricing, mix, and trade spending variances, including Channel Operating Profit, with a strong understanding of COGS, Brand Building, and Overhead allocations.
- Business Partnering — Partner closely with Sales, Customer Development, Marketing, and RGM teams to support Joint Business Plans, commercial initiatives, and initiative-level P&Ls.
- Insights and Continuous Improvement — Track commercial investments versus budget, identify risks and opportunities impacting performance, and drive improvements in commercial finance processes and reporting.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Engineering or related.
- Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or revenue management within an FMCG or similar commercial environment with Strong understanding of P&L management, including Net Sales, Trade Spending, COGS, Brand Building, and Overhead allocations.
- Hands-on experience with monthly close processes, accrual management, and financial controls.
- Advanced level of English.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, Anaplan, BPC, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent.
