Title:  Boiler Operator

Description: 

As a Boiler Operator in our Cincinnati, OH manufacturing facility, youll steam forward your career as you ensure our boilers are always in good working order. Using your strong communication skills, you’ll collaborate with operations, quality food safety and environmental health and safety. This position works 6 days on and 2 days off on either 2nd or 3rd shift.  The hourly pay is 36.57.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Leading Preventative Maintenance  Conduct daily preventative maintenance for instant troubleshooting and repairs on all boiler room equipment. You will test the boiler water, well water, cooling tower water, chilled water for air conditioning and brine. Well rely on you to add chemicals as needed to keep our operations running smoothly.
  • Ensuring Performance  Operate and maintain all boilers, chillers, turbo air compressors, cooling towers and their associated equipment. You will conduct weekly factory inspection rounds and note the sprinkler systems condition. You got this! 
  • Following Best Practices  Understand, follow, and enforce all established safety, health, quality, and company policies, procedures, and recognized practices. Youll aim for excellence every day with a passion for precision.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Proof of boiler operating training certificate or stationary engineer’s license
  • Experience with large industrial chillers, high pressure steam equipment and large reciprocating and centrifugal air compressors
