Title:  Senior Manager Integrated Business Planning Demand

Description: 

Advance your career as a Senior Manager Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand. Use analytics and demand planning capabilities with a commercial mindset to work across all categories and functions.  This position can be based out of Battle Creek, MI or Chicago, IL, and will work in a flexible, hybrid model with weekly in-office days. Estimated travel is 5-10%, individuals in the Chicago area will be expected to be in Battle Creek once a month.   

 

Support the demand forecast for our iconic Eggo and Morning Star Farms brands. Ensure that demand planners have the needed tools and are set up to be effective and successful in their roles. This high visibility position engages regularly across functions and with senior leadership. 

  

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Business Planning Process – Manage and facilitate the IBP routines with the IBP lead. Reconcile outlooks for demand, supply, and consumption to inform business unit leadership. The IBP process integrates the strategic and operational business plans that span across Commercial, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain through 0–60 month horizon managed in annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly cycles. 
  • Demand Plan - Lead the monthly IBP Demand Review gaining significant cross functional exposure such as Commercial Strategy, Marketing and Finance. You will be an active participant in Management Business Reviews with the executive business unit team.
  • Collaborate and Share Insights – Lead with data insights to build a driver & assumption-based the demand outlook. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement will be key to your success.
  • Advise and Mitigate Risks – Consolidate and maintain the risks & opportunities ledger for gap closures while leading reconciliation of demand and supply gaps.
  • Lead and Develop People – Oversee, motivate, and develop the Demand Planning team. Set group and individual key performance measures that align with objectives. Help your team continue to grow and develop their knowledge and skills.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or experience with demand planning/IBP.  Experience should include one or more of the following – Sales/Business Planning, Supply Planning, Demand Planning or Commercial Strategy/Marketing.
  • Strong skills with analytics and finding insights.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Dedication to finding and delivering fact-based analysis and comfort messaging results to executive leadership.

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $137,500 - $144,400, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
