Title:  Senior Manager Innovation Insights and Analytics

Are you looking to use your creativity and analytical mindset to play a key role in advancing our market-leading brands? In the Senior Manager, Insights & Analytics role, you will act as a strategic business partner to the Kellanova Salty Snack brands and commercial teams to provide consumer and shopper insights. You will have the opportunity to drive insights and strategy on iconic brands such as Cheez-It and Pringles.   This position is based in either Chicago, IL or Battle Creek, MI.

With your strong understanding of consumer and shopper needs, you will be able to identify consumer conversion opportunities and assist with the development of marketing initiatives based on key drivers. Excited for what lies ahead? A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Strategic Thought Leadership  Identifying white space opportunities ripe for innovation you will analyze market data and assess evolving consumer trends.  You will develop the business case supporting how Kellanova has the right to win as part of your recommendation.  Show us your ability to be resourceful, strategic, creative, and analytical!
  • Consumer-First Solutions  You will showcase your consumer empathy and understanding through identification of relevant needs to address and benefits to provide. In partnership with Marketing, you will lead consumer research on targeting and opportunity validation.
  • Innovation Focus – Leading the development and evaluation of new ideas you will utilize dependable and insightful tools to provide the Salty Snacks teams with a strong understanding of consumer potential for our innovative ideas.
  • Execution Excellence – You’ll leverage existing and create new processes to launch new products, collaborating with cross-functional teams with agility and speed through the commercialization of innovation. Employing top notch project management skills, you will create a pipeline of opportunities ranging from near-in sprints to longer term hunting grounds.
  • Vision Setting  Bring your fresh ideas and demonstrate your depth of knowledge in marketing, business, and consumer to create a vision for new opportunities. You’ll lead us toward success thanks to your ability to thrive in the trenches or in front of leadership.
  • Top-notch Tools – You will partner with key vendors to continually refine and improve our consumer discovery solutions. Working with segmentation tools you will identify core consumer needs and develop a portfolio map to allocate roles within the category.

 

Your Recipe for Success

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Demonstrated strength in marketing and marketing research competencies, including positioning, brand development, innovation and project leadership
  • Substantial experience in a range of product development, including white space identification and commercialization through launch of innovation
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with executive-level leaders, both by formal and informal communications and presentations
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting agendas
  • Proficiency working in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
