Title:  Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy - Omnichannel

Description: 

Advance your career as a Senior Manager, Commercial Strategy - Omnichannel leading across platform plans. We have two positions open, one in the salty snacking category (Pringles, Cheez-It and Club crackers) and one in the sweet snacking category (Pop-Tarts and Rice Krispies Treats). Both hybrid roles can be based in Chicago, IL or Battle Creek, MI, with additional locations considered. In these exciting roles, you will play a critical part in developing key plans to execute across both digital and physical channels.

 

Our team works with cross-functional partners, including omni sales, marketing, finance, category strategy, revenue growth management, R&D and supply chain. You’ll work to create a commercial strategy for our ecommerce platform that gets customers excited and grows sales & share.  This is a fast-growing space to reach consumers, engaging them through our ecommerce strategy with a focus on providing a unique and fun experience.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Customer Focus Across Channels - Represent our customers and field sales, serving as their voice in the development of omnichannel strategies, plans, and execution. You will take the lead to work with our key ecommerce customers to develop the appropriate assortment and marketing plans.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration – Partner with our omni sales leads and center of excellence, serving as the primary point of contact to deliver plans for promotions, digital coupons, and in-store custom executions. You will also work closely with marketing, finance, supply chain, and research & development. This individual must be able to work with a group of diverse functions and ensure they are all working towards the same initiatives.
  • Project Management  Execute, monitor, and drive visibility to Product Work Requests (PWR) frequently, ensuring the successful execution of projects. Ability to deliver projects and inputs accurately and on time will be critical to the success of this role. 
  • Business Insights - Proactively track, analyze, and make strategic and tactical recommendations for category innovation execution. Provide perspective and solutions to the teams based on learnings from both Kellanova and competitive innovation.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With
 

  • Strong background in the areas of commercial strategy, sales strategy, field sales and cross-functional project work. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proven success in building plans to execute across digital and physical channels to provide a consistent experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines, specific time constraints, and conflicting priorities. Must be able to prioritize projects within heavy workload periods.
  • Frequent travel is a requirement of this position.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills. Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret Neilson data and market research.
  • Ability to work with many people at various levels of the organization.
