Title: Senior Analyst, Sales Planning
As a Senior Analyst, Sales Planning supporting our grocery channel, you’ll be a key driver of growth, leading the development of promotional strategies, analyzing performance data, and delivering actionable insights that empower our sales teams. As the go-to expert on sales metrics, you’ll collaborate across departments—including Supply Chain, Commercial Strategy, Category Management, and Finance—to continuously enhance our planning processes. You’ll also partner closely with Account Executives, Sales Directors, and Category Managers to ensure alignment and maximize business outcomes.
Your ability to synthesize data from multiple sources will be critical in producing regular performance summaries and tracking progress against shared goals. If you thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoy cross-functional collaboration, this role is for you.
This is a remote-based position.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Maximize Business Plans - Partnering with Account Executives you will fully leverage Sales Planning initiatives. This position is responsible for determining and entering base sales business and working with account managers to review promotional activity within the Trade Promotional Management (TPM) system.
- Analyzing Data –Evaluate promotions and spend, as well as Profit & Loss key metrics for sales volume and contribution margin. This will also involve analyzing data.
- Providing Insights – Serve as the go-to expert for Trade Promotion Management, ensuring the accuracy of core planning data. Keeping the team aligned through monthly updates is essential.
- Annual Planning – Working closing with the sales team you will develop base and review promotional plans keeping in mind optimal mix and considering Gross Sales Volume (GSV), Net Sales Volume (NSV), and Cost of Production (COP).
Were looking for someone with
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Proven efficiency working in Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot, V-Lookup experience preferred)
- Demonstrated strong analytical work experience (preference for someone familiar with Nielsen, Business Warehouse Reporting, SAP)
- Proven ability to communicate complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally building relationships
- Ability to proactively take leadership on uncovering opportunities within the business
- Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
Compensation Insights:
The annual salary range is $82,700-$108,570 which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available
