Title:  Manager, Social, Culture, & Branded Content

Description:

As Manager, Social, Culture & Branded Content at Kellanova, you’ll demonstrate a deep understanding of how creative strategies shape the consumer experience. Your work will drive behavior change through compelling content development and impactful social and influencer engagement. This hybrid position is based in Chicago, IL.

Step into the world of warm, crispy waffles and nostalgic mornings, where iconic brands like Eggo bring joy to breakfast tables across the country. In this role, you’ll help shape how Eggo shows up in culture and conversation—building connections through social media, influencer engagement, and creative storytelling that deepen consumer love and drive brand growth. You’re a social media and communications architect—skilled at building brand presence across platforms in ways that resonate with our fans and drive business impact. If you have a portfolio, we’d love to see it!

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Social Media Strategy and Management – Lead and collaborate with social agency partners to develop comprehensive social strategies, content calendars, and community management across core platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest). Ensure all organic social assets align with the brand's beliefs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Earned Media Initiative – Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Brand, Experience Planning, Omni-Commerce, Legal, and Corporate Affairs—to develop cohesive and effective social media strategies. Additionally, support and coordinate earned media and cultural influencer initiatives as part of the broader experience plan, working closely with agency partners.
  • Brand Design and Creative Oversight Act as the Brand Design Vis ID "ambassador,” ensuring touchpoints across the entire creative ecosystem and marketing funnel are executed consistently and cohesively across various channels, including Digital Shelf and Omni-Commerce.
  • Social Media Optimization  Monitor and optimize all social media assets, both organic and paid, to ensure cultural relevance and platform suitability. Collaborate with PR and Insights to keep a pulse on emerging trends and relevant conversations.
  • Social Reporting and Best Practices  Identify the KPIs and program metrics for measurement across platforms. Lead the preparation and deployment of monthly/quarterly and annual social reports with input from agency partners. Develop and implement social and influencer playbooks, applying platform best practices to drive consumer behavior.

 We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Strong experience in PR/communications, social media, and/or creative management; experience with in-house brand experience
  • Strong understanding of internet culture, social trends, and emerging platforms with “insider” understanding of how social channels operate. Demonstrated passion for algorithms, testing and new formats to unlock growth
  • Proven experience developing content strategies and assessing creator/influencer content
  • Demonstrated success in long-term community brand building, with the ability to ideate unique opportunities that deepen consumer loyalty
  • Experienced in leading and motivating cross-functional teams, including agencies
  • An all-around seasoned professional with exceptional communication, storytelling, organizational and time management skills, and the flexibility to adapt quickly to change
