Title:  Finance Manager

Description: 

As a Finance Manager at Kellanova, your responsibilities include complex financial analysis across functions and business units. You’ll establish and monitor short- and long-term financial goals, provide insights on profit drivers, and manage monthly financial variance analysis with recommendations for improvement. This role is hybrid and based in the Chicago, IL area.

As part of Kellanova’s Away from Home (AFH) team, you’ll support financial strategy for products sold outside traditional grocery channels—think convenience stores, cafeterias, college campuses, and airports. You’ll play a key role in budgeting and forecasting, managing monthly close processes, and building full P&Ls that feed into Kellanova North America (KNA) Finance. This is a hands-on role requiring strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency to drive insights and support decision-making.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting  Lead monthly forecasting cycles and support annual budget development. Own the monthly close process for the Away from Home business and build complete P&Ls that roll up to KNA Finance. Perform ROI and variance analysis to support business decisions.
  • Analytical Storytelling  Break down financial data to uncover trends and drivers. Respond to ad hoc requests with clear, actionable insights that help tell the story behind the numbers.
  • Process Ownership  Work independently to manage reporting requirements and improve efficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Excel will be your primary toolthink pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and offline modeling.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration  Partner with Sales Finance, Commercial Strategy, Supply Chain, and Marketing to gather inputs and drive performance. Exposure to the AFH CFO and KNA Finance teams is part of the role.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field 
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and full P&L ownership
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills with a knack for storytelling through data
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort working across teams

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $107,400 - $140,910, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
