Title:  Associate Commercial Enablement Manager

Description: 

Advance your career as an Associate Commercial Enablement Manager supporting our Sweet Snacking business.  You will play a critical role in shaping our commercial vision, driving breakthrough ideas, disruptive product launches, and market expansion. This role can be based in Chicago, IL (Downtown or Naperville, IL office) or Battle Creek, MI (additional approved locations for internal applicants).  This role will work in a flexible, hybrid model with weekly in-office days. 

 

The Sweet Snacking category includes iconic brands like Pop Tarts, Rice Krispies Treats, RX Bar, Special K, and Pure Organic. Our team works with cross-functional partners including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Strategy, Revenue Growth Management, R&D, and Supply Chain. Together, you will create a commercial strategy that gets customers excited while growing sales and share.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Project Management  Frequently execute, monitor, and drive visibility to Product Work Requests (PWR) that are required to execute projects. The ability to deliver projects and inputs accurately and on time will be critical to the success of this role. This position is accountable for chartering new projects upon demand.
  • Customer Focus - Our customers and field sales will rely on you to serve as their voice in the development of strategies, plans, and execution. We will look to you to ensure programs are best in class and will deliver the business needs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration  This role has significant partnerships across Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Research & Development, and Sales. This individual must be able to work with a group of diverse functions and ensure they are all working towards the same initiatives.
  • Business Insights - Proactively track, analyze, and make strategic and tactical recommendations for the category.  It will be necessary for you to provide perspective and solutions to the teams based on learnings from both Kellanova and competitive intel. 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Background in the areas of commercial strategy, sales strategy, field sales or cross-functional project work. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines, specific time constraints, and conflicting priorities. Must be able to prioritize projects within heavy workload periods.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills: the ability to interpret Nielson Data and market research
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications
  • The ability to work with many people at various levels of the organization
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-motivation and time management skills
