Title: Sustainability Manager
As Sustainability Manager, North America, you will play a critical role in translating enterprise sustainability strategy into meaningful business impact across our North American operations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sustainability, you'll lead initiatives that advance our sustainability commitments while supporting business growth, customer partnerships, compliance readiness, and value chain resilience. This highly cross-functional role partners with teams across Commercial, Sales, Supply Chain, and external stakeholders to deliver measurable results that benefit our business, customers, consumers, and communities.
This position offers the opportunity to influence sustainability priorities across one of the company's most important regions while working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams. You'll help shape sustainability reporting, customer engagement strategies, compliance programs, and on-the-ground activations, gaining visibility across the organization and contributing directly to Kellanova's long-term growth and sustainability ambitions.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Sustainability Strategy & Execution – Lead sustainability programs and partnerships that support business growth, customer commitments, and environmental goals across North America.
- Program & Project Management – Manage sustainability initiatives across commercialization, activation, reporting, and compliance workstreams while ensuring delivery against key milestones and objectives.
- Data, Analytics & Reporting – Develop and maintain sustainability scorecards, dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics that support informed decision-making and measure progress against goals.
- Compliance & Governance – Support regulatory, voluntary, and customer sustainability reporting requirements while strengthening governance processes, data quality, and organizational accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Partner with internal and external stakeholders to execute sustainability commitments and develop compelling communications, presentations, and business updates that demonstrate impact.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in sustainability strategy, ESG, sustainability program management, environmental compliance, or a related field.
- Experience within consumer-packaged goods (CPG), food manufacturing, retail, or similarly complex industries.
- Proven success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience supporting sustainability reporting, regulatory compliance, customer sustainability requirements, or ESG programs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience working with sustainability metrics, dashboards, scorecards, and data-driven insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience developing executive-level materials and presenting recommendations to senior leaders.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $119,040 - $156,240, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
