Title:  Senior Supply Planner

Description: 

As a Senior Supply Planner on a 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Romania, Bucharest and working on a hybrid model, you’ll play a key role in driving supply chain performance and ensuring product availability across the network. The role focuses on executing planning cycles with precision, maintaining optimal stock levels, and supporting excellent customer service with minimal cost impact.

 

Reporting to the Supply Planning Lead, this position operates across the Cereals and Snacks categories, contributing to strategic analysis, participating in key Integrated Business Planning (IBP) forums, and leading initiatives to improve service levels. It also works closely with GBS Integrated Planning and core operational teams including planning, manufacturing, distribution, and order management to ensure alignment and responsiveness across the supply network.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing 

 

  • Delivering Supply Excellence – Drives processes to ensure the right product is in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantity.
  • Balancing Cost & Availability – Optimises product availability while managing costs, with a strong focus on process adherence and operational discipline.
  • Executing Strategy – Delivers Kellanova's Supply Chain Strategy, as defined by the Category, through daily and weekly planning processes.
  • Leading Core Planning Activities – Manages key planning processes across categories, including exception handling, deployment, additional volume requests, inventory policies, non-performing inventory, and phase-in/phase-out transitions.
  • Improving Processes – Contributes to process and performance improvements in collaboration with capability owners.
  • Connecting Key Stakeholders – Acts as the single point of contact between Category, Cluster, and Plants to coordinate daily and weekly planning activities.
  • Escalating Issues Proactively – Raises concerns to leadership or Category teams in a timely manner to prevent any impact on results.

We’re Looking for Someone With 

 

  • Extensive experience in supply planning
  • Practical knowledge of supply planning for the relevant local market(s).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, APO, or BW, along with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in English; a second European language is considered an advantage.
