Title: Payroll Team Lead

In this hybrid role, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to work where you perform best while making a real impact across our European operations.
As Payroll Team Lead, you’ll oversee payroll processes for France, Italy, Spain, and the DACH region. You’ll ensure accuracy and compliance, support audits, lead and mentor a team of Payroll Advisors, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline and enhance payroll operations.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Payroll Oversight & Compliance: Lead payroll processing activities, including data validation, statutory payments, and vendor coordination, ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal controls.
- Team Leadership: Coach and support Payroll Advisors, manage escalations, and foster a high-performance culture through regular feedback and development planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements, support policy alignment across countries, and ensure documentation (SOPs) is accurate and up to date.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, Audit, and external providers to ensure seamless payroll operations and support business needs.
- Audit & Reporting: Support internal and external audits, manage payroll reconciliations, and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- A bachelor`s degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
- Proven payroll experience, including 1+ year in a team lead or supervisory role, ideally in a shared services or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation in at least one of the following: France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
- Proficiency in English; a second European language (French, German, Italian, or Spanish) is an advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP/SuccessFactors.
