Title:  Initiative Planning Manager - 12 months contract

As an INITIATIVE PLANNING MANAGER for Cereals & K-Snacks categories based in our office in Romania, Bucharest  you will work on ensuring smooth coordination between commercial, innovation, and supply chain functions by managing product lifecycle activities (launches, renovations, delists, commercial innovations) and marketing initiatives with excellence, minimal waste, and customer service continuity. You will juggle multiple initiatives at once, streamlining processes, tools and communication methods.

This role is for 12 months contract.

Additionally, you will support a key supply chain transformation project within the Cereals network, assessing, quantifying and consolidating risks from initiatives interdependencies which could impact the supply plan, and coordinating communication and project tracking, providing regular updates to key stakeholders within the IBP (Integrated Business Planning) team.

Your role will be based in our office in Romania, Bucharest on a hybrid basis and you will report to the Senior Manager IBP – Cereals based in Ireland, Dublin.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop project initiative parameters and scope, managing the end-to-end product availability process. Typically manages 12 - 16 Initiative projects simultaneously.
• Develop processes, procedures, tools, and communication strategies to ensure seamless product availability execution of all types of Initiatives.
• Communicate project plans, progress, and issues to European Integrated Business Planning and Supply Chain management, Supply Chain Business Partners, markets and appropriate teams and resources
• Collaborate with project and innovation teams, giving consultation feedback from a supply chain standpoint in each monthly governance cycle
• Manage planning of projects to support and meet requested shipment dates, achieving Customer Service targets, while minimising scrap costs and excess inventory
• Work with Master Data team to coordinate timely and effective system set ups for new production introduction and innovations

Your Recipe for Success

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, or related field
• Strong analytical, project management and organisation skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• An effective leader of cross-functional teams and capable of influencing in all European cultures & levels
• Significant Supply Chain and project management experience, ideally with a knowledge of the Innovation Planning Process
• English - advanced
