Title: Maintenance Manager
As our Maintenance Manager you will lead the maintenance team to ensure efficient and reliable operation of all plant machinery and equipment. You will be developing maintenance strategies, overseeing daily activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and food quality standards. As the manager, you will strive to eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life of equipment, lead lean activities for the department, educate and align the team to the Blue Anchor Plant strategies, manage the maintenance budget, advocate for safety, and collaborate with plant leaders to meet our organizational goals.
Working in our Blue Anchor, NJ Eggo manufacturing facility is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a beloved brand. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the plant by leading a team of skilled technicians to maintain and improve production equipment. This dynamic role allows you to leverage your expertise to solve challenging problems, implement innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Drive Results: You will develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies. Work to reduce downtime and assure peak plant efficiencies, by overseeing the Maintenance team’s performance. You will utilize maintenance metrics to foster visibility and alignment.
- Think Big: Lead, manage and direct implementation of Kellanova Work System and Reliable Maintenance Center of Excellence. Identify and implement cost-savings initiatives. You will establish the criteria for assessing the quality of work performed by employees and contractors.
- Do it the Right Way: Supervise work completion through reports reviews, site inspections and coordination with operations and vendors. Promote safety across the plant. Investigate equipment conditions and recommend improvements to ensure that needs are met. Prepare and adhere to the established maintenance operating budget, monitoring departmental expenditures, including all Maintenance and Repair cost centers, parts, outside services and departmental labor.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree or years of experience in maintenance management within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, as well as preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $99,760-$130,935, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
