Title:  Engineering and Facilities Manager

In the role of Plant Engineering and Facilities Manager, you will be a vital part of the leadership team for our Blue Anchor Plant. You’ll provide technical expertise and management around capital projects, facility maintenance, construction projects, and much more. The Plant Engineering and Facilities Manager leads the Utilities, Facilities, and IT departments.  The role leverages connections between these departments to support the plant’s compelling business needs.  You contribute to our growth and success by driving our culture of best with our work systems model.

 

As an Engineering and Facilities Manager in Blue Anchor, New Jersey, days are both dynamic and purposeful. You and your team complete projects, address challenges, and ensure alignment with our goals. Throughout the day, collaborate with other department heads, visit the production floor, and analyze data. It’s a fulfilling mix of leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving. Your commitment to mentoring junior engineers, participating in strategic planning, continuously learning will help guide you in your career journey with Kellanova.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Project Management  You will be leading and directing continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment, and production systems. You will be ensuring effective execution of projects by meeting program objectives, project budgets and schedules. Collaboration is important with corporate engineering, contracted service partners, Plant Operations teams, and Quality teams.
  • Strategy & Scorecards  You will be partnering with Global Engineering to deploy corporate technical business strategies aligned with plant strategies and performance goals. You will be establishing and ensuring achievement of all function-specific Key Performance Indicators and work systems continuous improvement efforts.
  • Budget Management  You will ensure financial success by managing, preparing, and justifying expenses and capital budgets for the Engineering & Facilities department. 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Comprehensive managerial and technical background in a plant environment
  • Project management, communication, budgeting, and excellent human relations skills
  • Management experience in a technical capacity
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering/technical or other related field and a few years of relevant experience OR High School diploma/GED and extensive years of relevant experience
