Title: Senior Financial Analyst
As a Senior Financial Analyst supporting Kellanova’s Supply Chain team, you’ll deliver strategic financial insights that drive performance and efficiency. You’ll interpret data, spot trends, and guide leadership decisions through expert budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in support of Supply Chain Overhead management. This hybrid role is based in Battle Creek, MI.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Ad-Hoc Analysis & Financial Modeling – Own the execution of special projects and ad-hoc reporting. Perform complex financial analyses and build models that support data-driven decision-making. Manage timelines, assess risks and opportunities, and deliver insights that drive business decisions.
- Process Improvement & Automation – Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects to ensure standardization, audit readiness, and alignment with corporate objectives. Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements through SOX/PWC testing and documentation.
- Data Analysis & Reporting – Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Prepare monthly inventory reports for Supply Chain, providing insights and support for operational decision-making. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across reporting platforms and systems.
- Strategic Financial Planning & Forecasting – Partner with Supply Chain Overhead owners to build accurate forecasts and budgets, monitor monthly spending, investigate variances, and ensure expenditures are properly reflected in financial systems and reports. Lead updates to budgets and forecasts, identify performance gaps, and translate operational assumptions into financial plans.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- ERP system experience required; SAP preferred
- Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, IF statements, Pivot Tables)
- Proven ability to identify trends and drive process improvements
- Experience with budgeting and variance analysis
- Detail-oriented with strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Compensation
The annual salary range is $83,500 - $109,620, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
