Title: Procurement Technology Specialist
Step into a high-impact role as a Technology Specialist supporting the Procurement team, where you'll bridge business needs with innovative IT solutions. This position offers the opportunity to lead strategic projects that enhance efficiency and drive transformation across the supply chain.
As part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, system optimization, and strategic delivery. You’ll gain exposure to cross-functional initiatives, vendor partnerships, and play a key role in shaping how technology supports procurement operations. With up to 25% travel, you’ll also build strong relationships across locations and expand your professional network.
This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, IL; Battle Creek, MI; or Grand Rapids, MI, blending regular in-office collaboration with remote work flexibility.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- System Monitoring & Maintenance – Ensure Procurement platforms are running smoothly, integrated effectively, and escalations are resolved quickly in partnership with extended 3rd party support teams.
- Project Delivery & Oversight – Lead technology initiatives aligned to Procurement strategy, manage upgrades, vendor relationships, and support models to optimize platform performance and cost.
- Process Improvement & Documentation – Represent Procurement in cross-functional projects, drive consistency and accuracy, and identify opportunities for system and process enhancements.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in Procurement and supporting software applications.
- Analytical with strong attention for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and detailed information to different audiences.
- Experience aligning business strategy to functional and IT processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with business counterparts and drive alignment between the business and IT.

- SAP ECC MM/FI

Compensation
The annual salary range is $90,900 - $119,280, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
