Title:  Capital Execution Engineering Manager

Description: 

As a Capital Execution Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for providing direction and leadership to ensure successful project execution and technical performance across our Customer Service and Logistics space. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading our Customer Service and Logistics engineering organization. You will be instrumental in driving engineering initiatives and fostering a culture of innovation within the team. Your leadership will be key in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

 

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of leading innovative automation projects in Customer Service and Logistics (CS&L). This position can be based out of Battle Creek, MI; Chicago, IL; Jackson, TN; Rome, GA; Cary, NC; or Grand Rapids, MI. Travel to our project locations is estimated at 30%—50%.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Project Execution - Lead internal and external Project Managers to develop initial scopes, ballpark costs, charters, stage gate reviews, business alignment, technical specifications, operational performance criteria, and final cost estimates. Assist with installation and equipment startup for all Customer Service and Logistics-related capital projects. Collaborate with Global Technology Owners and Category Technology Owners to identify and align standard equipment menus and operating principles. Lead automation/warehouse/distribution center Communities of Practice.
  • Partnering with the Business - Build partnerships with our Supply Chain, Engineering, and KWS (Kellanova Work Systems) teams to identify opportunities for Customer Service and Logistics engineering to add value, increase productivity, and reduce risk. Balance creative, non-constrained concepts in the CS&L space with practical experience and data-based decisions to identify opportunities to improve productivity across the existing install base.
  • Enhance Technology Performance and Standardization - Develop key strategic relationships with OEMs. Lead efforts to ensure Project Execution follows all Kellanova Work Systems and Unified Workflow processes.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8-10+ years of technical experience with relevant technology, OR significant technical experience (10+ years) with relevant technology.
  • Experience driving transformational change within manufacturing, distribution, or warehousing environments.
  • Experience working closely with engineering, supply chain, warehouse, and logistics to deliver large capital projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work globally, guiding and influencing across all regional teams and many capital projects.

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $147,000 - $192,990, which is based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
