Title: Autonomous Maintenance Lead
Autonomous Maintenance (AM) is a team-based improvement process that empower operators on how to perform basic maintenance which perform routine tasks like cleaning, inspection, lubrication and improvement tasks. Autonomous Maintenance Lead is a pivotal role that orchestrates the Autonomous Maintenance Centre of Excellence, aligning with Continuous Improvement and Reliability Maintenance initiatives.
As an integral part of operations team, this role will collaborate closely with production leader & technician on the line to ensure equipment are operating at their optimal performance through autonomous maintenance practices. Key responsibilities include developing Daily Management System (DMS) to clean, inspect & lubricate the equipment, defect handling and operating the equipment to centrelines. This role will also be responsible for training and capability building of the team to ensure all the AM tools and technique are well implemented and followed.
This position requires a proactive leader who will serve as the primary liaison for Pringles Manufacturing Thailand Plant, fostering relationships across Kellanova network to enhance benchmarking and knowledge exchange. The incumbent will also be responsible for liaise with peers across different function and facilitate, coaching of teams, executing AM workshops and thereby contributing to the overall operational excellence.
The role is based out of Kellanova’s Chon Buri plant in Thailand.

A taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Leading the Autonomous Maintenance Centre of Excellence (COE), partnering closely with the Continuous Improvement and Reliability Maintenance workstreams.
- Developing Daily Management System (DMS) to clean, inspect & lubricate the equipment, defect handling and operating the equipment to centrelines.
- Installing and maintaining Autonomous Maintenance performance tracking key performance indicators (KPI) across the streams and building strong governance.
- Owning preparation of all Information Centre/Kellanova Work Systems dashboard reporting in plant.
- Organizing, facilitating, and coaching teams to deliver AM workshops.
- Assessing training requirements for the Technicians, Front Line Leaders and Plant Leadership plan and implement training schedules through internal and external sources, analyse training effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement
- Coaching and mentoring Technicians to ensure they perform at highest potential and meet or exceed expectations.
- Engaging in the cost innovation process, ideation/brainstorming sessions, benchmark with other Kellanova sites and food companies for best practices and identify potential opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with other function to develop or implement KWS practices, procedures, methodologies and ensure 100% compliance in these areas.
- Acting as the key point of contact for the Chon Buri Plant Autonomous Maintenance and partnering with other plants in the network to facilitate benchmarking, and knowledge sharing to ensure adoption of best practice approach.
How will the work environment be like:
- Requires the ability to work in a confined space, restricted and/or in elevated areas.
- This role demands high interaction and communication with the Plant Leadership, peers and technicians in developing, coaching & training to enhance the capability of the team.
- May require work coverage beyond the normal hours and on weekends/holidays or emergency situations.
- Able to do basic maintenance such as cleaning, inspection and lubrication in a production environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a bachelor’s degree qualifications or higher in Industrial Engineering or any related field of equivalence
- Having 7+ years of experience in a comparable manufacturing plant environment and track record of implementing Autonomous Maintenance
- Strong technical & analytical skills, especially in use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Smart Factory (SF) tools
- Must be fluent in both English and Thai, to be able to effectively communicate AM policies and procedures to all levels of the organization
- Should have proactive, a keen eye for detail, problem solving and results orientated attitude. A training/experience in use of continuous improvement systems like six sigma, TQM will be an added advantage
