Reports to: Associate Director, HR, Enstek

Global Level: GL 4 (Proposed)

 

  • The role will be responsible for partnering with ~100 employees across Corporate Functions, Quality, and Engineering. Scope includes workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee lifecycle management, organizational design support, and executing the communications and engagement strategy within these functions.
  • The role will be part of the Plant HR Leadership team and will report to the Head of HR, Enstek Plant.
  • The role will work closely with Senior HRBP and function heads to deliver the HR agenda at both technician and salaried levels
  • You will play a key role in ensuring HR programs are implemented effectively on the ground — from technician hiring and onboarding to engagement activities and capability building.
  • The role provides strong exposure to both functional and technical HR partnering, offering progression opportunities into broader HRBP or specialist roles.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Workforce planning & budgeting – Build and track the headcount plan for ~100 employees, across corporate functions (HR, Finance, EHS etc), Quality, and Engineering. Track vacancies, overtime guardrails, and forecast vs. actuals.
  • Talent acquisition & onboarding – Execute TA and onboarding for technicians in Quality & Engineering. Support local logistics for salaried recruitment in these functions.
  • Comms & engagement – Bring plant-wide comms and engagement strategy to life in your functions. Organize recognition, floor-walk activities. Track engagement pulse actions to closure.
  • HR partnering (respective functions) – Work closely with function leaders to embed HR programs into daily and monthly rhythms. Coach mid-level leaders and ensure people priorities are visible in plant reviews.
  • Org design & lifecycle – Support function heads on structure changes and role clarity, enable feeder moves and rotations, and manage employee lifecycle from hire to exit., including career transitions.
  • Performance & talent (with L&D/Talent) – Ensure goal setting, calibrations, and IDPs are completed. Partner with L&D to progress skill matrix and support frontline leader capability in Quality & Engineering.
  • People analytics & reviews – Track KPIs (attrition, absenteeism, time-to-fill, onboarding success, engagement) for your functions. Share insights during monthly function and HR reviews.
  • Collaboration with ER/IR – Partner with ER/IR to ensure discipline, compliance, and smooth union relations, escalating patterns/issues as needed.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 7–10 years of HR experience in manufacturing or large-scale frontline environments.
  • Strong background in manpower planning, technician hiring, onboarding, and engagement.
  • Hands-on style with presence on the shop floor and comfort working in a unionized environment.
  • Strong execution focus — can translate plans into action at function level.
  • Analytical mindset; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Resilience, pace, and ability to balance strategic and operational demands..
