Title:  Manager, Market Execution

Description: 

The Market Execution Manager role involves supporting the Meijer and Hy-Vee Account Team and Retail Execution Team as a single point of contact. Responsibilities include ensuring best-in-class execution and compliance. The position is open in Michigan (with consideration for other locations in Illinois & Indiana), and it requires 35% travel throughout the territory

 

As a key player in Division Sales and Retail Execution, your responsibilities include driving profitable business growth across the category. You achieve this by increasing sales in key categories and improving execution performance through data-driven insights. This role serves as a bridge between Retail Sales and Account Sales, allowing you to collaborate with various parts of the sales organization

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Business Strategy - Providing market-specific insights you will develop plans for growth, including leveraging category management, space management, procurement, and net pricing.
  • Relationship Development  You will interact with appropriate contacts in support of the business.  Assisting in developing and strengthening the Kellogg partnership with the Account & Supply Chain teams you will provide better analysis of retail execution insights.
  • Competitive Intelligence  This position is responsible for building and maintaining a deep knowledge of competitive presence within the market.  This includes (but is not limited to) competitor big bets and promotions, innovation, and customer strategy.
  • Category Development - Ensuring the effective positioning of the category items/ SKUs at the account you will work to drive sales and effective execution of promotions/ campaigns for the category at the accounts.  You will report and act on category sales & supply performance metrics within markets to drive established results.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Significant sales experience in consumer-packaged goods
  • Previous track record of exceptional leadership and results in a sales organization/ account management capacity
  • Previous experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • Must have the ability to work in conditions that include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
  • Ability to lead, align, resolve conflict, and work in an ever-changing environment
