Title: Junior Marketing Activation Manager
As a Junior Marketing Activation Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract for the Mediterranean region, you’ll be an integral part of the MED Marketing Activation team, reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Activation Manager. In this role you will be responsible for shaping & executing Brand Activation and promotional plans (central & local) across three categories: Cereals, Salty Snacks & Wholesome Snacks.
You’ll collaborate closely with agencies, distributors, and cross-functional teams to bring our brand strategies to life. Based in our Athens, Greece office, this role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working model. Occasional travel to local markets and distributors will be required to ensure strong alignment and flawless execution on the ground.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support Brand Execution: Bring our Masterplans to life—from media to in-store—ensuring shopper experiences are engaging, insight-led, and aligned with brand strategy.
- Drive Brand Performance: Analyse portfolio performance across brands and markets, identify key drivers, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Activate Locally: Implement marketing and customer activities such as events, sampling, consumer promotions, guerrilla marketing, loyalty programs, digital campaigns, prize competitions, and in-store activations.
- Agency Collaboration: Partner with local agencies to develop impactful brand activation plans across all three categories.
- Toolbox Development: Work with central teams to create and adapt toolkits that empower markets to activate our Masterplans and Local Magic Initiatives with excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Supply, and other departments to support innovation launches and maximize brand impact.
- Budget Management: Oversee BTL budgets, reviewing investments to ensure alignment with brand and market priorities.
- POS Development: Create and manage point-of-sale materials for brand and customer marketing activities.
- Communicate & Collaborate: Maintain daily contact with cross-functional and central marketing teams to ensure strategic alignment and drive market growth.
We’re Looking for Someone With:
- Experience in a marketing or brand-focused role
- A team player with a proactive mindset and a can-do attitude.
- Strong ability to set clear goals, monitor progress, and creatively solve problems to achieve impactful outcomes.
- Curiosity and drive: You ask questions, bring new ideas to the team and are excited to take on new challenges. You’re comfortable managing multiple tasks, staying organised & adapting quickly to change
- Comfortable presenting to both small and large audiences in Greek and English.
- Fluent in Greek and proficient in English, both written and spoken.
